Back again!

I haven't put anything up in awhile, but not because I haven't been doing anything. My computer has been on the fritz, and so I've been unable to download pictures, but it is back up and running, so I'll be doing a little catch up soon.
Just a little something for now though...

We had the opportunity to dress up at work on Friday for Halloween, and my team had a theme of witches that everyone interpreted as they wanted. So, I got my black witch hat, but wanted to dress it up, so I started going through my craft supplies and found a peacock that I've had for awhile, and decided that would be my witch theme. So, I decorated my hat into this peacock witch hat:
I also was looking at peacock items online, and I saw nylons with a peacock feather up the side of them, and figured I could do that - so I did!
I printed a picture of a peacock feather, and blew it up to the size I wanted. Then I took a pair of nylons, put the paper on my leg, and then my leg in the nylons and traced. I'm sure that there could have been an easier way to complete this, but it worked for me. :)

Overall, it was a very inexpensive and fun costume for the day!
